Trailblazing Female LAFD Firefighter Set to Retire

Firefighter Hollyn Bullock, the only female member of the LAFD's Urban Search and Rescue Division, is retiring this summer after 27 years.

Firefighter Hollyn Bullock, the only female member of the LAFD's Urban Search and Rescue Division, is planning to retire this summer after 27 years on the job.

Bullock has been part of search-and-rescue operations for some of the country's largest emergencies, including the World Trade Center terror attack and Hurricane Katrina in New Orleans.
